In Overlapping Horizon, Pare Patcharapa esplora la pittura come mezzo attraverso cui il tempo e la memoria lasciano tracce, trasportate attraverso i luoghi e trasformate dall'atto di dipingere.

Questa serie riunisce paesaggi e architetture di Torino e Bangkok, catturando l'esperienza di abitare due luoghi e temporalità contemporaneamente. Attraverso le tele, un orizzonte continuo collega le due geografie, dissolvendo i confini tra di esse. Eppure, i mutamenti nella luce atmosferica rivelano momenti distinti nel tempo. Mentre queste scene separate convergono lungo un orizzonte condiviso, l'esperienza del viaggio e del dislocamento lascia il posto a un continuo scambio di memorie tra l'altrove e il qui, dove le tracce di ciascun luogo continuano a sovrapporsi e trasformarsi.

In Overlapping Horizon, Pare Patcharapa explores painting as a medium through which time and memory leave traces, carried across places and transformed through the act of painting.

 

This series brings together landscapes and architectures from Turin and Bangkok, capturing the experience of inhabiting two places and temporalities at once. Across the canvases, a continuous horizon connects the two geographies, dissolving the boundaries between them. Yet shifts in atmospheric light reveal distinct moments in time. As these separate scenes converge along a shared horizon, the experience of journey and displacement gives way to an unfolding exchange of memories between elsewhere and here, where traces of each place continue to overlap and transform.
