Migration is inevitable, and relentlessly it will repeat. Migration, emigration, and some memories that must negotiate with what remains and what disappears, clouded with indebtedness, distortion, and reversion.
 
This work is a continuation of the Memory Complex exhibition which was an experiment in an abandoned building in the heart of a commercial area. It spoke about a forever-incomplete memory, invisible had it stayed in the borderline state between disappearing and being remembered. This work, Elsewhere Within, is a journey to “elsewhere,” which lies not externally but within. The series of painting works as a certain detritus that is left behind. Without any perfection, a feeling of attachment to the past appears the hidden dark side in one’s daily life. A proof of a life once lived, a cause of migration. In the tangled threads of hope and disappointment.
