Pare Patcharapa Inchang (b. 1984, Thailand) is a contemporary artist whose practice moves between painting and photography, examining the entanglement of memory, landscape, and lived experience. Her work considers how personal and collective histories persist through fragments of place, domestic imagery, and the traces left by absence.
Drawing on cinematic composition and a sensibility informed by her background in graphic design, Pare constructs ambiguous scenes that operate between recollection and fiction. Her paintings hold moments of stillness and uncertainty, where intimate narratives intersect with broader social and political conditions, inviting questions around migration, belonging, and the instability of memory.
Pare holds a BA from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. Her work has been exhibited across Thailand and internationally. Her photobook Touch Me was published by 89books, Italy, in 2022. She was a fellow at apexart, New York, in 2024, and her work is held in the permanent collection of MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum, Thailand.
